St. Bede Knitting Ministry
Williamsburg, Virginia

For the past 25 years, the Knitting Ministry at St. Bede Catholic Church, come together each week. We've have been knitting, crocheting or quilting  "creations" that are then donated to the Local Charity Groups.

Newborn Hats for Mary Immaculate Hospital
As of June 2010, 4000 hats have been made and donated, over the years
Newport News, VA














Soft & Cozy Hats and Neckwear for those undergoing treatment in the Dialysis Center, Hampton, Virginia

Over the years, these items have been donated to the following Charity Organizations:

Catholic Charities
Veterans Administration Hospital
Heritage Humane Society (Cat Cozies)
Marine Corp. Museum - (Helmet Liners)
St. Joseph's Indian Reservation, North Dakota

100% of all the Labor, Materials, Transportation and Postage is donated by the Knitting Ministry, parishioners and local businesses. All monetary donations to the Knitting Ministry are used for purchasing Yarn and Materials.
